Candied Chex Mix

  • 1 1/2 cups karo syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cubes + 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 large box Rice Chex
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup slivered or sliced almonds
1. Bring syrup and sugar to a boil for 2 minutes (no longer). Add margarine and vanilla. Pour syrup mixture over chex, coconut, and almonds. Pour onto waxed paper until cool.
